My career has been varied,
and has spanned over 20 years, with much of my experience gained
in business and office/laboratory management.
I worked as a Research
Scientist in the UK for several years, initially at The Imperial
Cancer Research Fund, then went on to The Welcome Trust at
Cambridge University.
A change of career then
took me to the USA where I worked for a world famous
musician/actor as his Personal Assistant, and moving on from
there took over the position of Vice President of a music
production company in New York.
Returning to the UK I gained
'Prince2' qualifications in Project and Programme Management and
worked with Orange Telecommunications.
In February 2002 I decided
to start Virtual Business Support, and made the change from
being employed to self employed on the basis that I already had
a portfolio of clients in the UK and USA that was growing
rapidly.
